Battery replacement

I have had two Banners. The first lasted 4 years. This one still going after 2 years.

I do regularly charge it and maintain the correct fluid level.

I have found excellent at crtanking over the VX EX. It has never expelled any liquid inspite of being raced with slicks (I have a tiny catch tank arrangement to see if it had).

I will be going Redtop 15 for weight saving I think but look at the Yuasa too.

Looked at Yuasa. Don't fancy a gold caddie / lawn mover batt. Cold cranking is the key... It is not designed for the 300+ amp draw it might well see.

Red top it is.

I have just bought a Red Top 700 based on previous posting on this site because of its high crank current nearly 3 time a banner, which was struggling to turn my engine over.

It is a little lighter but not cheap (£104.53) and its black not red???!!!

Got mine from Redline Motorsport (Middlewich Cheshire) www.redlinemotorsport.co.uk who were very helpful.
