R400C Posted June 11, 2019 Share Posted June 11, 2019 It's a question I've asked before, but didn't really get to the bottom of it and still haven't taken any action so ...I would like to fit new lowered headlight brackets to my car, but realise that it will leave untidy cut-outs in the sides of the carbon nose-cone where the old brackets where. Is there a recommended way of patching the hole to disguise this?Fairly sure that a few people must have tried this by now, so please share your success stories and failures! Wrightpayne Posted June 11, 2019 Share Posted June 11, 2019 I think it will always show as a repair.what about a bit of tube, disc welded on the end and powdercoat and clamp into the original light brackets positioning flush with the hole.
