Graeme Smith Posted March 12, 2003 Share Posted March 12, 2003 I've taped over the underside of two sets of slots in the bonnet above the carbs, to stop water getting into the throttle cable and jamming it. Good idea or stupid idea? (I will take it off for racing on high speed circuits). I reply to every thread Posted March 12, 2003 Share Posted March 12, 2003 Mine has got 5 - the two in the carb area were missed out when Arch made me a special cover because the cut-out for the filter for the Jenvey TB's comes so close to the louvres that the strength of the cover is compromised.
