De Dion axle oil

If it has a plate LSD then Castrol B373.

you can suck the oil out with an oil syringe / oil extraction vacuum pump from above with the boot floor out.

Re plug access, as Jonathan says play around with the jack - maybe best with the dedion on full droop!

Just for interest ....

When I asked Quaiffe for recommendations for ATB oil: Feb 2009:

Please use either the standard oil as recommended by the manufacturer of your vehicle or Silkolene Silktran Syn 5 (Fully synthetic API GL4/5 SAE 75W/90).

I now run a ZF plate type LSD. Road and Race who built the diff suggest that Oil for ZF LSD is: Comma Gear Oil Limited Slip – LS80W-90 – GL5

jacking up and down is time consuming and when lowering the car down to check the oil level after removal of the hex plug the oil usually runs out (don't ask)!! Boot floor out and 3/4" of 10mm (IIRC) hex key with a ring spanner and a bit of flexi piping to top up (when the car is level)

That reminds me of the lady who went into a motorfactors to buy a new 'seven hundred and ten' cap. Only to be told she'd got the original cap upside down *tumbleweed*  *getmecoat*
