rgrigsby
I'm not up to date with the current specs so I was just wondering has the rear brake situation changed in the last few years?I started of with standard rear brakes but quickly replaced them with the uprated AP "race" rears which were superb other than the lack of a vaguely useable handbrake.I've currently got a set of 2 pot Hispec rear brakes fitted which have a built-in handbrake, whilst they work well pedal feel is no where near as good as when the AP's were on the car.FWIW I used to run Pagid RS14 pads but now run Ferodo DS2500 (I think) ThanksRobert
7 wonders of the world
I run the same rears with the HiSepc 4 pots up front and the AP master cylinder (complete with leaky race cap ) I tried several different materials but love DS3000 all round now great pedal and consistent feel. rj
I ended up with the Sierra rears and CL RC8 pads. Those are grippy enough to make the rear trying to overtake unless you have a bias valve in the circuit. (Brown trousers moment at the end of the long straight at 120mph).The balance is now as good as before the uprated fronts came on the car.
