ECR
They offer drilled socket cap bolts but don't appear to offer socket head cap screws (although there is a picture of one). Looks well worth a phone call though
Jim 123
I got some stainless bike stuff time back. They were pretty good at fabricating what I wanted.

Tony P
LAS Aerospace** have what you are looking for in UNF and UNC sizes (though not stainless, obviously); they are agents/distributors for a host of brands and obscure (to car folks) stuff, so they might be able to find something for you if it has to be metric.(Six 1mm holes in an alloy M5 alloy caphead wouldn't leave a lot of 'meat' in the screw head...) (**I've had excellent service from them in the past on small orders.)
rj
Not much, but can be done. This is a cross-view of the head of an M5 cap head according to DIN912 with 1.2mm cross drillings:
Keith_T
Sorry, I've not read all contributions but you might have a look at what Pro-Bolt offer. www.pro-bolt.com
elie boone
Can't see why one could not use an alloy bolt ? apart from cost that is.
SM25T
I wouldn't like to drill titanium or stainless screws with a tiny drill. You would potentially need a lot of drill bits. One or two holes would certainly be enough.
elie boone
There are special drills for SS, if you keep the speed low enough and use the SS lubricant for drilling it should not be a problem as long as you use a center punch to avoid the drill to wander. Tony P
Agreed.A routinely-available cobalt drill bit - and a bit of care - should be ok for a regular-ish fastener. I don't see why stainless is so preferable over a quality, plated item in this instance. What material will it be in contact with?
John Vine
If you do manage to find suitable pre-drilled bolts, please post up details. I'm inclined to do the same mod on my R400D RB trumpets.JV
