Tazio
The positioning of the springs which hold the front of the bonnet closed, has caused damage to the paintwork on the leading edge of my freshly painted clams!. Has anyone a solution to this?, some way of sleeving the springs perhaps?
Jim 123
B&Q do large diameter clear plastic tube in cut your own lengths that will slip over the springs
7 wonders of the world
you could get some coloured neoprene and make little condoms for them either gluing the sides or with velcro, effectively a mini version of the ones people fit on dampers. Jim 123
As mentioned you can choose for yourself at the ropes etc section. I got some for my car which was thin gauge and soft clear plastic. It looked to me that it is designed to fit over heavy chain to protect it from damaging other surfaces.

Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted April 4, 2019 Leadership Team Share Posted April 4, 2019 What about as an alternative putting a small piece of paint protection film on each wing?Stu.
Tazio
Stu, the lip of the wing is too small to get a bend on the film, clear plastic tubing, like they use for acquariums is I think the answer. Thanks for everyones input.
