Grandmaster Flatcap
Despite being told not to, the last numpty to balance my wheels stuck the weights on the polished face. The weights have now been removed but have left behind a black foamy gunk backing. What's the easiest way to get rid? Ta.
SM25T
WD40 or white spirit to soften adhesive and pick it off.
rj
Würth do an "eraser wheel" for removing decals. Works a treat on my MB wheels when I re-balance them. Easy, efficient and doesn't damage the alloy. On painted wheels they are even better.
Wrightpayne
White spirit on a rag. Just soak for a minute or two then rub with the white spirit soaked cloth.
