AndreK Posted March 9, 2003 Share Posted March 9, 2003 Look at previous technical threads on this, search under VX 1.6, 1600, Blydenstein etc. Not huge potential compared to most of the other engines, but maybe 130 bhp maximum with 8 valve? Is the 2ltr Vx the same bolt pattern as the 1.6???? is it not a simple engine swap between these engines?? or is it not as simple as that? Thyoughts anyone? Sheds Moderator Posted March 10, 2003 Share Posted March 10, 2003 AFAIK the Voxy 1.6 1.8, and 2.0 all share the same casting so it is a drop in exchange. 2.0 8V gives 115 or 130 bhp depending on source, 16V 165bhp, both figures out of the box, as fitted to the repmobiles. More is available thereafter, and they are practically indestructible. You could use it as a cab if you fitted the 115BHP 2.0 😬 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
