Dixa1225
13" wheels and Toyo R888 tyres are a great combination, just the correct size on a Caterham in my opinion. They aren't going to improve your bump steer mind.Need to shim steering rack for that .
Mark_
Dixa, a full geo and corner weight session was already on the cards, I just wanted to get the basics right first!
Ivaan
Old ZV3s to new R888Rs will transform the cars handling. So much more grip, you won't believe!
Mark_
Cxr/888 combo on route......
Ivaan
Did you get the CXRs from Compomotive? I thought they'd gone pop?
p.mole1
13 wheels and tyres will improve things like the ride as the tyres will probably have a lower load index, but it's the bump steer you need to look at.

johnL
Hi Mark I had a similar problem with my supersport, built at CC Crawley, constant pulling to the left and handling was very nervous. When on bumpy B roads it was quite a job to keep it where it needed to go.I had DPR look at it, they set the geometry up to their fast road set up and the difference was unreal. The car is much more compliant, rides smoother and is a dream to drive, by far the best thing I have done with the car. Can't recommend DPR and the their set up more. Mark_
Thanks Johnthe car will be going to DPR as soon as my wallet has recovered from buying the wheels and tyres.
Dave Hardcastle
My Caterham Roadsport was exactly as you describe when I first had it. It was a nightmare on bumpy back roads. What transformed mine was changing the really heavy standard front brake calipers for lightweight, Hi-Spec Ultralights. Both of the latter weighed less than one of the standard calipers. The car felt better as soon as I pulled off my drive. You can look at the Hi-Spec options here.
