Cutting 52 mm hole in dash for a time clock

if your want a clean, true, accurate hole with minimum deformation and surface damage then a hole saw is not the tool for the job, providing the material does not exceed the limits a Q-Max will do the job perfectly, for smaller holes a step drill is perfect but you do get heat build up on larger holes which can cause damage to the surface finish.

JV,

I did wonder if anyone would notice that - I had a 260mm momo previously and it obscured the 'important' part of the rev range so I turned it so I could see. Back with a 290 now so could revert back! I also took out the supersport shift light (as I have DRE lights) with the view to replacing with a bright orange LED linked to the early oil pressure warning switch, fitted as part of the MOPG install.

Regards

Ian
