Jonathan Shepherd Posted February 6, 2019 Share Posted February 6, 2019 Can anyone help please?I have had a 2013 metric chassis re-skinned on the RH side and unfortunately there is no hole pre-drilled for the now hidden exhaust bracket mounting captive nut in the chassis rail just forward of the rear wheel arch.If someone could give me the dimension from say the centre of the front A Frame mounting bolt to the centre of the exhaust bracket bolt I could drill in the right place!Many thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

revilla Posted February 7, 2019 Share Posted February 7, 2019 Get yourself one of those tiny strong magnets off eBay for pennies. If you move it over the area where the hole should be, you can feel it through the skin. It really does work very well and lets you locate the hole accurately. Hard to describe but there's a spot that the magnet just wants to avoid as it is always attracted to the metal to the side of the hole and just refuses to sit over it.
