Support Team andy_harries Posted February 2, 2019 Support Team Share Posted February 2, 2019 Hi allBit of light maintenance today (checking tyres, fluids etc) I took the nosecone off and noticed that the clips that hold it on underneath were missing. The two side clips are there:but the ones underneath are not:The nose cone seems to be well held on when the bonnet is in place, but I'm a bit worried that it could fly off going over a big bump etc. I can cable tie for now, but should I replace the clips and if so where would I get them from? The fitting that it clips into is still in place on the car.

John Vine
It looks as though your nosecone has never had the lower fittings. Is that now standard CC practice? If so, I can't say I'm wildly enthusiastic.JV
CtrMint
The nose on my Oct 18 car has four, if that helps.
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted February 3, 2019 Leadership Team Share Posted February 3, 2019 Some of the Dzus fasteners are secured by a plate which takes two rivers, others though are just the centre section with a nylon washer holding it in place, I suspect you need the latter type.Stu. Mark Gregory
Would that be 'the' River Plate?
