Jim 123
Sump plug washer? On my Sigma it's a rubber item and always worth changing.
mossy7
Don't think it's a problem. It's a hex head plug (15mm I think) and self sealing.
ChrisC
Currently CC fit a Fram PH2874 oil filter, so http://www.oilfilter-crossreference.com/convert/Fram/PH2874 lists some alternatives I use the CC recommend 5W50 oil, but Millers 5W50 XFS is getting difficult to get, so I may switch to Motul Sport 5W50 next oil change from Opie. tomwood
Another vote for the Fuchs Pro S in the 5w-40 grade. It really is an excellent oil.A suitable alternative from millers might be the CFS 5w-40 nanotechnology oil.Tom
ScottR400D
I’ve been using the Millers CFS 5/40 for a couple of years. Seems fine. Always maintains good pressure and temperature on TDs and no consumption as far as I can tell. I also understand that it’s recommended by CC, or has been, though the recommendation may be based more on who’s sponsoring the racing than technical reasons.
