Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted January 10, 2019 Leadership Team Share Posted January 10, 2019 Although I have no experience of Proxies, those size tyres should be fine on those rims, i have plenty of the same rims as you and I've used a variety of tyres with no issues.Where is the rubbing?Stu. TomB
Its common on older de-dion cars to have to grind a few mm of the rear of the DD ear when fitting the wider wheels. I had to when I fitted CR500 tyres (205-55-13). Is this the first time you've fitted the wider wheels?
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted January 10, 2019 Leadership Team Share Posted January 10, 2019 Tom, Steve's been running those wheels already so must be a tire issue.Stu.
