Random blue wire under LHD of dash?

Anyone got any ideas over the following wire?  I found it tucked into the side panel under the dash.

Heated windscreen?

Really, there is no mention in the assembly guide of that,,  hmmm.

Probably someone cut the connector off the heated windscreen to thread it through the grommet under the support. The other side may have a black wire dangling.

Probably pulled out of its little male bullet connector so look for a black ground wire with black female bullet connector attached.

I use Wago connectors on the heated screen,makes life so easy.

Hi Elie – I am looking to replace the cumbersome spade connectors on my heated screen with something that will allow quick and easy removal / replacement of the screen (and wire) when I swap to a Brooklands setup. Is there a particular Wago solution that for this that you would recommend?

Malcolm, you should be able to find them at every electrical store or DIY shop

if you solder the cable end it's much easier on frequent changes.

I use them a lot for temporary 240V equipment testing also now on the 7's heater for ease of removal. Really handy and will be ideal for the screen You can get this more compact (and cheaper) type from Toolstation and smaller quantities of the Wago unit.

From the Caterham Parts website, it appears heated screens have a dark blue and either black or light blue wires.  It looks like your screen has a light blue wire.  

The chassis loom connections for the heated screen are a black wire (B22) near the wiper motor connection and a green pink wire (GK97) near the diagnostic port.
