mike150 Posted November 20, 2018 Share Posted November 20, 2018 Before I start pulling the seats out and the tunnel top off....... Does anyone know what the wiring is for the standard heated seats? My drivers seat heats on stage 2 but light on the switch comes on for 1 and 2. My passenger seat doesn't heat on 1 or 2 but the switch light comes on for 1. I can't get at the plugs or switches without dismantling stuff! I don't know what they are wired through as they aren't mentioned in the handbook. mike150 Posted December 8, 2018 Author Share Posted December 8, 2018 Well I got them fixed, seems the wiring block Caterham use for the seats is bolted onto the fire wall right above the steering column so they bolt it on and then push the 2 control relays in which can push out the spade connectors. 2 of mine where out. mike150 Posted December 8, 2018 Author Share Posted December 8, 2018 Well..............people have managed fine without them in 7's since the 60's but they are good.Coldest day and all you need is a hat and gloves, heater on, heated seat on and its toasty!!!!Really all you need is the heater.
