Haddock
HiMy side repeater wires have been cut and so I need to fit a new side repeater unit to replace the old one.I need to remove the original live wire from the econoseal connector : how to I do this ?I suspect there is some simple way that I am missing.During my build I quickly learned to plan carefully before acting so thanks in advance for your help ! blueyedbiker
You'll need to pull out the yellow plastic pin locator from the plug then poke a fine flat jeweller's screwdriver over the pin you wish to remove and lift up the small wedge that locks it in to place while gently pulling on the wire. It's a bit of a knack.
ScottR400D
There’s a special tool but a fine electric screwdriver works. The cable goes in from the back. Push the driver in to release the tab holding the terminal in and pull the cable out from the back. I cant remember whether you put the driver in from the back or front but it’s pretty obvious.
