davejmitch
I'm looking for an original 1700 Supersprint rocker cover to replace the non-standard one on my car. If anyones got one that they are looking to sell please get in touch. Thanks, Dave

Stridey
Is that an early one? Just mentioning it if total authenticity is an issue..mine from a 1995 car has 1700 Super Sprint on it.
Wile7
Mine has writing too Stridey....but not as bling as yours Interestingly mine is a 1995 car too but slightly different writing. I wonder which is officially 'correct'? Anyone?
Wrightpayne
Its like Wile’s Super 7 Sprint.Ian
TANGO7
I think originally "Super 7 Sprint" was fitted to the 1600 Sprint and "1700 Super Sprint" was fitted to,surprisingly, to the 1700 Supersprint.
Ralph45
That's correct, it is as saundersian said above, and I believe there is another one just come up on eBay with the filler cap and bolts if that helps?
Wrightpayne
Thats odd - for some reason the original advert has ended and the item relisted?
davejmitch
Thanks gents, and for the messages alerting me to the ebay item, From all the images i’ve studied whilst restoring mine I’m also of the opinion that the super 7 sprint rockers were more common to the 1600’s and the 1700 super sprint rockers were fitted to “what it says on the tin!” I will keep look for that elusive 1700 super sprint rocker that mine would of had originally. Thanks again for the heads up, fingers crossed one will surface eventually! Stridey
Mine was all black when I got the car, after a gear box change with Chris Wheeler at the 7 workshop he showed me his little bit of ‘bling’ work as a surprise. Which was nice!
