barry.h Posted March 10, 2003 Share Posted March 10, 2003 Assuming then that it will fit a 1700cc (83mm bore) does it require modified pistons or will the normal bowl in piston Accralites be OK? Similarly does it require anything other than the normal wide port exhaust manifold? I assume it is cast iron, unleaded and is complete with valves, guides & springs? I cannot comment on their size , as i do not know the spec of your current pistons . It is cast iron, no it does not have unleaded seats in it, yes it is complete with springs etc, to be honest, if you are going to stick it on you bog standard srint lump save your money! You will only reap the rewards from this special head if it is on an all steel engine with cam lifts of 12mm+ and durations of 300+. Power Freak member! barry.h Posted March 10, 2003 Share Posted March 10, 2003 My "bog standard sprint lump" with all steel bottom end, H section steel conrods, gear driven 254 cam and fuel injection might just cope.
