Jonathan Kay
That's where I want it. But probably using a proprietary open-jawed clamp.Jonathan
Jonathan Kay
I tried the mag mount on a blat today but on test it was found the sat nav fell off ( small tom tom 4.3 screen) Magnet not strong enough - although it does give a neat solution, probably ok for a phone. What was the case made of? If it was plastic how about gluing a magnetic metal plate to it?Jonathan

prangerman
I have a RiF low CF aeroscreen. I use a car air vent mobile phone holder - I use the TomTom Go app on my phone - and use the bottom of the aeroscreen on the scuttle like an air vent blade. It is positioned on a thin foam bed to the left of the ACES shift lights and just to the left of the steering wheel up against the edge of the scuttle to give room behind the wheel for gloved hands.
