Molecular--Bob
I have the uprated front hubs, but thought the discs should be attached with hex head bolts like the old style ones? I ask as mine came back from the post crash rebuild with cap heads. I am not worried by the mechanical soundness, but I want to run a front wheel magnetic speed sensor and am concerned that the hole in a cap head may give false triggers? If the standard spec should be a hex bolt I think there is enough room to replace them without taking the hubs off if the cap heads are going to cause me a problem. Graham Howard
I have cap head bolts securing the front discs and am using a speed sensor picking up on those bolts without any problem. The sensor is positioned on the outside edge of the bolts so that it doesn't pass over the centre of the cap head.
Molecular--Bob
Cheers Graham,Was about to fit the sensor bracket when I saw the cap heads, good to know that it won't be a problem.
