Non-7 related. Absorbing moisture from tin-top

Sam,

My Mom makes dried flower arrangements and buys Silica gel (the moisture absorbing stuff in the little packets inside the boxes of electronic goods) in a loose form to speed up the flower drying process.

This comes from the warehouse she uses and I would guess a mug full of this would do the job. There's probably a stockist not far from you.

Justin *cool*

It sounds like you have a leak - usually the ventilation and use of a car dries it out. This is after all what they are designed to cope with. Have you felt the footwell carpets and in the boot for puddles? I have dried out leaks with a hairdrier in the past, though with Scabious the ratty Volvo the cure is simpler - remove one of the plugs in the spare wheel well.

Otherwise I second the packet of salt in a washing up bowl comments. Try not to spill this on any steel or ally bits *eek*
