vx 2.0 hpc must sell

Started life as a 1987 ford chassis although never completed or used- bought in 97 and chassis re-built by ARCH (original caterham chassis makers) to Vx spec (changed engine mounts etc.) Then built from ground up as if new kit (photo's available of build) by mechanical engineer. Obviously 'Q' plated, and run around for 3800 miles but still immaculate. I then brought it in 99 and proceeded to upgrade it, adding the big brake kit and having the donor engine rebuilt and stage one tuned (£6000) by recognised Vx specialist to include electronic ignition mapping. Now gives out 213 BHP! I also changed the clutch while it was out and changed the gearbox from the Quaiffe close ratio straight cut to a new sierra XR4 that doesn't whine (the first is a racing box that I will also sell with the car). I also uprated the suspension to Bilstein adjustables.

All work has been done by Arrowstar racing of Oxford, recognised caterham experts, including a recent service and chassis touch-up.

Everything else is pure HPC - she's in aluminium/british racing green, 16'' HPC wheels, full weather gear, MoMo steering wheel, leather racing bucket seats, FIA roll bar, 4 into 1 side exhaust.

Never been on a track in her life, much loved and polished, and probably the most fun high spec Vx you can buy for £12000.

Live in the new Forest on the south coast.

summers comin!

*cool*
