jonathantennantbtinternet
I know what you're saying - the spec is spot on for a 7 . It is an iconic model, with the reg and build number #007.But the VX is a great fun 7 to drive that sounds like a proper sportscar thanks to the carbs and induction noise.Jon

Wrightpayne
Iconic seven Vs noise - No brainer to me. I’m going deaf anyway!!I know we shouldnt talk about cars as investments but #7 is a very useable one!Ian

nickh7
That’s fab, think the VX would be gone , you want induction roar fit throttle bodies .
Wrightpayne
No one would buy it with those tyres on :-).Seriously, it is stunning and you must keep it!I have the original performance car article about the Superlight press car P509 BPA if you want a copy. That said if I hadn’t recently bought a 911 I’d be buying it!Ian

Wrightpayne
So, what did you decide to do in the end?Ian
jonathantennantbtinternet
Both are still for sale ...... The VX has great history with every race and practice recorded, 2 owners from new with only 9800 miles on the clock priced below market value at £9,999.The Superlight has known histtory from new, 4 owners and 35,000 miles . Unsure what the Ebay one went for, it wasn't sold for the hammer price, I think a deal was struck before the final bid. Oh and the tyres fitted to the Superlight has to be in the RAC 1a list of approved tyres , so no super sticky tyres ;-)
