Now that I have changed my mind about selling the 21, I think I might follow up the idea of running one of these beasts off a couple of leisure batteries (so one can keep the air flow going while another is being recharged).

So does anyone have one they no longer want?

Hi GJT

i know it’s not a version you specified but throwing it in to the mix for your consideration - I have a Carcoon Evo (size 4 IIRC) in blue that I have used for both a 993 and a CSR so should easily accommodate a 21. It’s in vgc and not now needed as I have a second one for use if necessary but our garage is very dry so having two is definitely OTT.

I never needed a chamber that was framed but understand it might be a necessity for you.

I apologise to dimensional pursists, I'm not taking millimetres into account.

I'm sure that anything which can take a CSR (3.30 x 1.69) is likely to take a 21 (3.84 x 1.72) and obviously a 911 is bigger than that.

The garage is 4.92 long and 2.54 wide. so well able to accommodate a size 4 Carcoon (4.70 x 2.00) and this should fit under the door - 1.93 clearance and the Carcoon is 1.69 high.  It is all good so far.

I would prefer a framed unit because I will need to run off battery/batteries.  Although I have seen the thread on solar lighting https://www.photonicuniverse.com/en/catalog and have asked this company about following the Ian Bruce approach of leisure battery plus solar recharge.

Crucial questions are: location and price!  Do send e-mail or BlatMail if you wish to be discrete on pricing.

My location is Berkhamsted HP4
