gavingraysonr300
Hi just wondering what is the household cleaner that I’ve herd people using on the exhaust to get a nice shine I know you still have to use autosol as well.
shn7
Harpic Max. Tried it recently and was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. Protect paint and hands though.

Andrew Willcox
Autosol with wire wool worked well for me - be interested to hear if Harpic is any better.
shn7
Harpic was much less effort to remove tarnishing. Then polish with autosol or similar with a cloth.

Stridey
Just tried Harpic on my Raceco titanium. Got rid of tar marks with a loo brush a treat.
BigCol
I use this... but I have an orange car with black pack and like the exhaust also being black (one day, I’ll get around to getting it powder or ceramic coated to save having to touch-up the paint)
R400CAT
I use Harpic, followed by autosol. Results are good. I use a magic sponge with the Harpic, then a cloth to apply autosol. Also use this stuff. Never dull wadding. This stuff is good, at getting the shine. https://www.amazon.co.uk/NEVR-DULL-Polishing-Wadding-553-22-88-High-Gloss/dp/B00FV30DO4
blueyedbiker
They used to say that too much Harpic sends you clean round the bend.
SM25T
The Never Dull stuff only appears to come from the US with delivery charges three times the product price.

Alastair B
Just to keep reinforce the power of Harpic. Tried it today applied with a paint brush - kitchen scrubber might have been even better, it was great at removing the yellowing from the primaries, followed by Meguiars NXT Metal Polysh.....it came up a treat in no time at all. Harpic at £1.75 didn't exactly break the bank either.
