Brucebosley Posted May 4, 2018 Share Posted May 4, 2018 Checking oil level, I have just bought k-series super sport with 1600 K-series engine, with a dry sump, it was rebuilt by Dave Andrews, and I can’t Find how to check the Oil level. can anyone help.have. danielcwsmith Posted June 6, 2018 Share Posted June 6, 2018 Hi Bruce,I made one out of sturdy wire (think metal coathanger, but a bit thicker), did the dry-sump leveling process described and then dipped the tank and scored a mark.I also then let the car sit and cool overnight on level ground and re-dipped it, which gave me a cold/settled level.Hope you're enjoying the car.Danny Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
