Hanns Per Posted April 21, 2018 Share Posted April 21, 2018 should I worry??? Its a Caterham uprated clutch for the Duratec 2.3 engine used for road only. After some 75000km it developed hairline crack in the pressure plate on the outer edge. Should I be concerned or is this normal? elie boone Posted April 21, 2018 Share Posted April 21, 2018 I would replace the pressure plate especially as the crack is on the outside. On track it can happen that material around the fixing bolts cracks mostly due to engine brake. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
