7 number 4
I have been away from hillclimbing for a couple of years, but we are planning on doing a local event next month (Bouley Bay, Jersey). The car will be running in road legal spec on 13in wheels. Are Kumho's still a favourite List 1B tyre? For these purposes I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for dry conditions so don't need a mixed weather all rounder and thinking about somethiing quite soft..Any thoughts from the fraternity?Ian
Comp Sec
There were major changes to the tyre list with the introduction of List 1C tyres, which Kumho's now fall into. Most now use either the Medium Compound ZZR's as supplied by Caterham, (as the soft compound ZZR is now list 1C) alternativly Avon ZZS. Area Representative Richard Price Posted April 15, 2018 Area Representative Share Posted April 15, 2018 Kumhos are not list 1b any more :-)ZZS's seem to work well enough.
