R500 / CR500 cambers

Having swapped my rear cambers between 0.25 and 1.5 several times, I've decided to leave it at 0.25 -ve as for ACB10's. I do have a set of CR500's for wet weather use as well.

What rear ears do the R500's come with if the CR500 tyres are specified? My first thought was that it should be 1.5 -ve as they're radials but what with them being so wide, I wondered if this was not the case. Does anybody know what running them on .25 -ve does? (if anything noticeable!)

Thanks,

Alex

I cannot answer specifically for the tyres you mention, but crossplies need less camber than radials. On my West Field I run about 0.5 deg negative at the back and that is fine.

You'll notice if you don't have enough negative camber because the outside of the tyre will start shreading on the track.

Neil
