Dobson_justin
I need to upgrade my car to a LSD. I have about 230bhp, a load of torque, and without LSD it breaks traction too easily, even in 3rd gear. So, time to upgrade. There seems to be no simple answer to the best option, so interested in your experience, opinion or random thoughts - ideally LSD related. What should I go for? Thanks! Simon.Rogers
No but it is what i have and what i have been selling for the last year. I had the first production lsd.If i look at my results since fitting it i have posted either a PB or record when weather has been suitable at every event.New batch of lsd due shortly.Another club sprint customer had the last of the first batch a couple of months ago.I have to leave the line with significantly more revs than in the past or i stall. elie boone
reading the Tracksport website, up to 2 sec a lap faster ? it doesn't state that the ramp angles where the same or not, beware a LSD is only a piece in the jigsaw of traction, if tyres, and suspension doesn't match up your engine performance the LSD won't make a huge difference
Dobson_justin
Thanks Simon & Elie.Elie, I understand that the LSD is one element only, but with so much power without one, it will make a big difference. Just have to choose correctly!
Roadsport06
Have a quick chat with Steve at SPC and he can give you his brief overview of your options.
Simon.Rogers
We offer 2 ramp angles and Steve suggests that these should be the same on the way in and out.45 and 30 deg options. Preload on this diff is exceptionally low at just 26lbft.
