Fitted Lowered Floors

well just finished fitting lowered floors on driver and passenger side of my SLR.

Definitely comes under category of an awkward job but I actually really enjoyed it overall and a good sense of satisfaction upon completion!

Pneumatic rivet gun is a really cool wee tool and very enjoyable to use

There is an alternative as I looked into this when fitting my floor over Xmas , a small rivet gun that fits into the chuck of a cordless drill , check out the videos on you tube , can’t remember the name but google rivet gun for cordless drill and you’ll get the idea.

Softies *rofl*

I did mine with a hand rivet gun ... and had all the interior panels powder coated at the same time, I estimated around 700 rivets and felt like Popeye when I'd finished! Had to buy a new rivet gun as well because I'd worn the old one out. The steel rivets around the seats were sods!

Stu.
