John Vine Posted March 10, 2018 Share Posted March 10, 2018 I've re-used my exhaust gasket a couple of times over nine years or so, and I'm about to do so for the third time. The gasket looks in good condition and cleans up well. There's a hint of a leak (slight carbon deposit) on the edge of a couple of ports, but otherwise all ok.Is there a limit on how many times these gaskets can be re-used?JV Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
oilyhands Posted March 10, 2018 Share Posted March 10, 2018 As long as they are in one piece and have an intact fire ring then they should be OK to reuse. I always swage the fire ring out a little before refitting if I am re-using an exhaust gasket.
