Frosty
Can anyone help me with refitting the pad on my Momo steering wheel? I have tried to find some replacement fittings but have no idea what the material in the picture below is called:This one is in ok condition but the others have come off and are brittle and don’t connect to each other any more. As you can see it’s applied to the steering wheel with some adhesive and some identical material is fitted to the back of the pad.I’m open to using alternative methods if it’s worked for other people, but I want to keep the pad as I have indicator buttons and this pad hides the wiring.I’ve tried heavy duty Velcro but it’s not great. The pad does not actually fit flush, mainly because of the buttons and wiring, the original interlocking pin type material actually does a good job, but just needs fresh pieces to be secured to both parts.
