I know there is something in the back of the seat for the head restraint tube to locate. The driver's seat fits well but the passenger seat head restraint does not seem to be locating and rattles around Any ideas how to fix? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AndrewE Posted February 26, 2018 Author Share Posted February 26, 2018 Aha, I've solved it!Inside the seat there is a rectangular tube into which the HR slots. Inside this tube is a piece of thin spring steel riveted to the tube so that it exerts pressure on the HR tube and stops it moving and rattling. So its not just 'stiction'. My piece of spring steel had broken offI managed to effect a repair with a small piece of bent brass strip that whilst not having full spring effect does stop the HR moving around Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
