Tazio
Other than replacing the doors, is there a way of cleaning/polishing the side screen windows which over time have taken on a foggy and scratched appearance?
Blue C7
Try Renovo window polish. I have used it with good results.

Petethediesel
Any of the headlight renovation kits will work. These generally have two or three grades of very fine polishing abrasive. Work well on most perspex/similar.

SM25T
Auyoglym Super Resin Polish. Beware of any grit around the edge of the plastic. Easy to add more scratches.

Member Jonathan Kay Posted February 20, 2018 Member Share Posted February 20, 2018 Yes, clean first. Then start with mild abrasives. As with most plastics I suggest Brasso (liquid rather than wadding), then toothpaste. As usual start in the area you care about least.Has anyone tried "microfibre" cloths with or without liquids?Jonathan
SM25T
Have I read that hair dryer warmth might help clear some fogging ... but not too hot or it will melt !! Use with care and at your own risk.

DJ.
If you don't have any luck polishing them, you could try the option AntonyH suggested here:https://www.lotus7.club/blogs/better-side-screens-half-doors-seen-lowflying-april-2015I've modified mine and visibility is much better for me as I sit a long way back in my S3. They won't fit easily if you use the full hood, but can be made to fit Ok with a half hood.Duncan
