Jonathan Kay
Please send me a Private Mail with details of the 7 (model, year, engine, dash) and your email address, and I'll try and find the appropriate Assembly Guide and Owner's Handbook.Jonathan

AndrewE
Thanks that's really helpful and explains a lot! - do you know the revs that the light comes on?Andrew
Edzup Ezzer
Andrew, I'm not sure. My innate mechanical empathy doesn't allow me to venture quite that far up the rev range!Ezzer

TomB
Related, what colour is the instrument illumination meant to be? Ive a mixture of green and white on my early 1996 car, and I would like to standardize one of these days.
Jonathan Kay
That's the gauges, not the warning lights?Mine are original from 1998 and are white. If you're changing how about LEDs? (I have seen it suggested that the removal of the waste heat from incandescant lamps may increase misting!)Jonathan
Paul Deslandes
My 95 car (2 litre Vx) had green lights which were achieved by a soft green plastic sleeve over the white/clear bulb. I suspect that your white ones were green but the sleeves fell off. I've no idea whether you can get replacement sleeves but a bit of googling might reveal a source. If so, please share.Paul
