when I wanted to upgrade my Classic last year *confused*

Advert posted today on findit.co.uk here

Phase 2 1700cc Ford X-Flow engine tuned by Niel Roper (145bhp Approx suitable for twin 45 DCOE Weber Carbs). Ford 711M block bored and honed to 83.28mm and fitted with special high compression pistons.

Pistons with machined pockets for valve clearance. Head is by Vulcan engineering using larger valves and uprated double rated double valve springs with hardened valve seats to allow lead free petrol. All rotating parts are crack detected and balanced. High pressure high capacity oil pump. Performance distributor complete with cap and leads. Special low line sump (5 1/2" deep) in allow to give adequate ground clearance.

The above engine is ready to fit to your Caterham all you need is oil and water.

£500 ono.

Seems like a decent price for the power.... anyone interested?

Nick
