Pedals for toe and heel

Recommended Posts

I now realize that my pedals are not set up for toe and heel changes.

When my brake pedal is fully depressed, the throttle pedal is still too far away for me to be able to roll my right foot over onto it.

What is the recommended way of making the adjustments?

If I've understood correctly, if I adjust the throttle cable, it will only make matters worse by being further away.

If I move the brake and clutch assembly further away, then SWMBO may not be able to reach the pedals, and it's her car 😳

If I bend the pedal arms, I am worried about causing weakness in a safety critical item.

What have others done?

Most modern cars have pedals that can fit in 3 different positions. I've got my clutch and brake on position 2 and the accelerator on position 1. This means they are all nicely in line.

The second thing you could do is get some tubing and fit it around the accelerator pedal thus making it a bit wider.
