chrisb Posted February 26, 2003 Share Posted February 26, 2003 Hi, Since my car came with a toneau cover, I thought I'd put it on. However, it doesn't fit! The problem appears (only) to be the head rests. So I though I'd take the passenger one out. But unless I'm missing something, they don't come out They are the old leather variety, with the round 'tube' type head rests on an oval post. They will lift about 3.5" before metal meets metal somewhere. Have looked everywhere for a release button, but can't find anything. Am I missing something? Casbar Posted February 27, 2003 Share Posted February 27, 2003 If you have the newer S type seats, removing the headrests all the time, tends to make them loose.
