Thermostats

Hi 

I run a 1.6 K mega grad ex race car used for track days only. It currently doesn’t run a thermostat and stays pretty cool on track. Oil temp seems to run ok at around 100. It’s been this way since it was retired from racing and I bought it.

Id like to know what the general consensus is as to running a stat or not.

Road and trackday use yes a stat will maintain correct operating temps, a correctly plumbed PRT works very well on a K set up.
