jamesclarkson
Ive noticed the rear ARB has been (slightly) catching on the inner edge of the wider rear wheels (8'') that I sometimes run on the car. It was originally spec'd with 6'' rear wheels and I wondered if there was a slightly different ARB arrangement on the 8'' wide cars? I cant find anything on Caterham parts to suggest anything, but that means very little.....
Paul McKenzie
Switch the drop link over to the inside. Also make sure it's not the DD ear catching.
jamesclarkson
Thanks - definitely the drop link. Is it literally a case of swapping everything over the opposite way - including the upper ball joint on the drop link?
TomB
Yes, that's right. Swop the top around.

F355GTS
Mine still rubbed even after swapping them round, in the end I fitted longer studs and run spacers on the rear
ChrisC
I think the Apollo wheels have a different offset, because they don't bother with the spacers anymore. They are still in the manual, but not included in a 2015 kit.
W2TKY
I've tried to get some 8" rears to fit on my Imperial S3, it's catching on both the drop links and the D/Dion. Has anyone sorted this out?
TomB
Yes I have. You need to grind a bit off the de-dion tube, taking care not to grind out the weld attaching the bracket for the Dedion ear to the tubular section. I had to take off ~5mm I think to give adequate clearance. Mine is the older design with the ARB overslung the diff, so I also had to swop the droplinks to the inside of the ARB. Drumster
Mine is a '93 de dion and I too have done the same as Tom
