Dr Slotter
Might be interested! What tyres are they and do the wheels have the TPMS sensors on them?

A10ROX
Actually got me thinking .... how do I know if they have tyre monitoring sensors?they came off my BMW that had this function so may be they have, hence hoe can I check?
Dr Slotter
Which BMW was/is it? If it has the function in iDrive to show you the tyre pressures and behaves the same with both sets of wheels on (i.e. it doesn't moan at you incessantly with these alloys on) they probably do, especially as you bought them direct from BMW. aerobod - near CYYC
To confirm if the wheels have sensors, on BMWs if they have rubber valve stems they don't have sensors. If the valve stem is all metal then the wheel likely has a sensor, unless someone has changed the valve stem to an aftermarket metal one.

Dr Slotter
Having done a bit more research myself into the exciting world of TPMS, BMW winter wheels, insurance and MOT requirements, I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass. Hope you find someone to buy them.
A10ROX
No problem ... I'm sure they are of value to someone! Thanks for considering them ...I've just bought a set of 400M which are being refurbished and fitted with new winter rubber as these don't fit over the upgraded blue calipers ...
