Took off the cover and found a white powdery deposit around the rivets which secure the stainless steel wing protectors - looked a bit like the corrosion you get on aluminium fittings on boats! CHRIS CLARK Posted December 9, 2000 Share Posted December 9, 2000 Pretty standard practice! Clean them with a bit of GT40 (smells better than WD40! thumbsup.gif) more often!!! It is one of the tragedies of modern life that there is not an electronic version that one can spray on looms, ECUs etc. As to the power keep out the liquid that is creating the simple cell.
