Question for PC

Peter,

I've accurately calculated that my front wheel rate is exactly 39% of the spring rate. Considering that my front suspension is fully rose jointed (and hence no longer suffers from the rubber bushes binding on the standard live axle set up) can you recommend a spring rate (range) for me.

Other factors to consider are that I don't currently use an anti roll bar and the front corner weighs of the car (without me in it) are 110-115 kgs. I need this info in order for Koni to re-valve my 3012's.

I don't know what my current spring rates are (and they look like different springs since I rushed to get the car out for Curborough last August) The springs are not pre loaded as the car has plenty of droop.

I'm using the car predominantly for drag racing and the occasional hillclimb/sprint.

Appreciate your advises.

Cheers

David.
