W2TKY
Hi guys, Just tried fitting my new wheels, and the larger rears are striking the drop links, any suggestions? Mark
SM25T
Are the drop links on the inside or outside of the arms ?
W2TKY
On the outside!
SM25T
Can you swap them over to the inside ?
W2TKY
I'll have to see, is this the usual fix
ChrisC
They changed the mounting of the drop link between 2011 and 2015 (my last two cars). This is the 2015 car build spec
W2TKY
Is this something that can be retro fitted on an older car
ChrisC
No 100% sure, but can’t see why not.
John Vine
This is the layout on my 2008 R400D:I imagine that, if you could obtain the hex extension piece, you could move your droplinks to the inside?JV
alan c
I cannot take a picture right now but I am fairly certain the first photo looks exactly like the set up on my car which is 1993 and I run 15x8 rears. I replaced the drop links with new ones last year with current CC items with no issues except for a struggle to get the old ones off
