Wrong time of year?

Too pricey?

I may have completely misjudged the market, Wriggle room on price, leather seats can be fitted if needed and I have a RIF aero screen that can be added in

With the sun out it’s hit the heady heights of 1300 miles since rebuild, and feels sorted, better clean it now!

My brief opinion - you're asking genuine R400, certainly R300 money, for something that is completely non standard with a 1992 identity I presume. Whilst the spec and work done is I'm sure to a high standard, and its undoubted a very high spec, your asking a lot of money for a very personalised car. If it was a genuine R3/400, it would be much easier to sell I think, but I think you could struggle as it's a small market at the best of times.

It sounds very 'racey' - have you considered Bookatrack or Racecarsdirect to attract the keen track day folk?

Thanks Tom

I test drove a few older Duratec factory built R400s at the time, this one actually felt much better put together. Its sailed through every MOT and service, Spy motorsports seem to think 'its a good one' . Most of the Duratec powered R400s are £10k more on pistonheads, ultimately its worth what somebody will pay, I don't think the price is way off beam.

Other than the cage its not that 'racey', its actually great on the road

I agree its a bit more niche than most 7s, but I'm not sure there's such a thing as a standard 7! They have all been tweaked to some degree by the various owners, I've had heavily modded Elise S1 and S2 variants in the past, it does take longer to sell these cars, but there is usually a buyer waiting if you are patient, who can recognise what they are getting for the money.

I'm no rush to sell, but Bookatrack site etc is a good call
