Flat Floor Set Up. Top job Gemzoe Motorsport

Had the car properly set up yesterday by Dave at Gemzoe Motorsport car now feels beautifully balanced, Dave said it's wasn't far out but the change to the rake and corner weights have really paid off. If you've not done it then i really recommend it.

Daves knowledge of set up was outstanding but for me it was his instance that it had to be about what I wanted from the car and how I drive it. Not prescriptive at all , felt very involved and he explained why he was doing what he was doing and what effect it would have. I now have a better understanding of set up and my car. Thanks Dave.

I need to call Dave and book a setup, hopefully in September. Having fitted higher spec dampers, I shou,d get this done to make sure I'm getting the best from them. How long did the process take?

Hi Tom , it took 3hrs give or take a few cups of tea. It will depend on what's needed. It took quite a bit to get the rake on mine but as Dave set up each car differently you need to talk to him. I really recommend it , it's a real eye opener what goes into it.

Had mine done a PGM earlier this year. A different car afterwards. It did help that they fitted the steering rack properly (a CC car and sold by  a "reputable" 7 specialist) so you would have hoped it should have been correct.

Took about 3 hours and I was fed plenty of tea and chocolate biscuits. Cannot recommend them highly enough. 

A proper set up on something as quick and sensitive as a 7 is a must.

Had mine set up at Northampton Motorsport took about two and a half hours,sat in the car eating sandwiches and drinking coffee while it was done.Car feels much more stable and responsive now.Well worth the expense

Had my car set up by Dave at Gemzoe yesterday and it has changed the car massively, rake and cross weights needed altering quite significantly and the car feels more planted now and more supple now.

I highly recommend getting your car flat floored as it can make a significant difference to the way the car feels and can even save you money if it has been badly setup and is scrubbing your tires badly as a friend has experienced. He had his checked by Dave and the same time and now has his booked in! Highly recommended. :-)
