Mark Gregory
Excellent, but I think we need another column showing cost.
Jonathan Kay
:-)Please could everyone add prices (and sources) they've seen... and even paid.JonathanPS: Even with cost that presentation of data shouldn't mislead anyone into thinking that it includes everything needed to make a decision. Lithium batteries are very light and very interesting. I wouldn't use any unsealed battery including the default Banner.

StevehS3
Maybe the unloved Banner isn’t so bad after all. Lowest cost, highest capacity, highest CCA, all for a weight penalty of a decent breakfast.
anthony1956
For me. It is about the longest lasting when the alternator fails or the engine won’t start, in some remote location on a Saturday night.
CageyH
The PC680 has a massive pulse current available for around 5 seconds (2250A I believe). This may explain why my car always starts first time.
Stridey
Ordered PC680 yesterday from Demontweeks, arrived today, 11 ish. Standard delivery. That’s Tayna level of delivery time, so looking good so far.

Sooty
JonathanJust to add to your table, I use a PC545 which quotes 460cca. Just fitted my third one, previous 2 having lasted 9 years each- pretty good for a small 13ah unit. Relocated mine down by the starter motor thus shortening the cable runs

Jonathan Kay
This has most definitely been discussed before, but what is the general consensus on lithium battery’s to replace the banner battery that has died in my R400K.I don't think that there is any consensus because there haven't been enough reports on particular makes and models. Probably the best single thread, and I'm trying to document mass and price and energy storage etc over there. But I'm totally convinced that they're worth considering.Jonathan

Jonathan Kay
And a general reminder... if you change type of battery you might need:1 A new cage.2 New leads either for length or because of different terminals.3 A new smart conditioning charger with an appropriate mode such as AGM or lithium.Jonathan
